ONLINE SHOP EXPERIENCES

One of the challenges of the worldwide online shift is that companies often struggle to create a branded, unique and personal connection with the customer. That's why shop experiences, sometimes called "online boutiques" are so important – and why writing and developing these online spaces is one of my favorite things to do. Aspirational, on-trend and brand-specific online "shops" not only allow for more creative freedom, but they also help connect the customer to the brand in a more personal way.

SITE UPDATES/PRODUCT COPY

Elevated language and beautiful imagery were utilized to make the website as welcoming as possible. While I wasn't able to get as creative as I liked due to the ever-evolving brand "voice" at Coldwater Creek, I was able to add elements such as style tips and romantic language (truncated) to certain site updates/product copy blocks. It's always a fun challenge to keep copy short and readable while maintaining a fresh, clever and inspiring voice.

EMAILS – Triggered & Day-to-Day
​
Ah, emails. Ever-changing, fast-moving, and time-consuming. But when they're done right, they're huge drivers for the brand and the bottom line. I worked with a great team of designers to reinvent our Welcome Series and other Triggered Emails (which comprise the first part of this showcase) and we had a blast coming up with personable imagery and accessible "girlfriend speak" to welcome new-to-file customers. The back half of this showcase are examples of some day-to-day email sends (including full-line, sale, factory store and outlet)...check them out, see what you think!
